Berlin as a MICE Destination — and Why It Matters for Turkey Buyers
Berlin is home to ITB Berlin, one of the world's largest travel trade shows and a key annual gathering for tourism destinations, tour operators and MICE buyers. For DMC Turkey Partner, Berlin represents Germany's broader outbound MICE market — German-speaking Europe is consistently among the top three source markets for incentive and corporate travel to Turkey.
Agencies and corporate buyers attending Berlin events typically plan programmes 12–18 months ahead. A connection at ITB Berlin in March translates into Turkey programme business for the following year's incentive and conference calendar.
