Event Overview
The Meetings Show is a UK-focused trade show for the meetings and events industry, held annually at ExCeL London. It runs a hosted buyer programme alongside a general exhibition, and is positioned as the principal annual meeting point for the UK meetings, conferences and events sector.
The show is co-located with Business Travel Show Europe, allowing meetings-industry and corporate travel buyers to attend both events during the same visit, which is a distinctive feature compared with the standalone IMEX and IBTM formats.
Who Attends
- UK and international meeting and event planners
- Association and corporate conference organisers
- Destinations, venues, hotels and DMCs targeting the UK market
- Agency and PCO buyers
Why This Event Matters
For destinations and DMCs focused on the UK outbound MICE market, The Meetings Show is a key opportunity to meet UK-based agencies, association planners and corporate buyers in one location, alongside the adjacent corporate/business travel audience at Business Travel Show Europe.
What MICE Professionals Should Know
- Hosted buyer applications are assessed against the show's qualification criteria; general trade registration is also available.
- Because the show is co-located with Business Travel Show Europe, exhibitors and buyers with both meetings and corporate travel remits can cover both audiences in a single visit.
- ExCeL London is well connected via the Elizabeth line and DLR from central London and both major airports.
